Psych-cumbia sounds good to my ears, also!

I've got that album by Satan's Pilgrims. They're a favorite of mine. They really nailed that 60's psych-rock sound and vibe on that album!

The Hold Steady - Almost Killed Me

Early 2000's Brooklyn garage rock that took elements of the post-punk revival movement at the time and merged that sound with the gritty New Jersey bar band sound and the revival was better for it.
