The Moon & Antarctica is an awesome album. It has a rather cold sound to it, don't ya think?

sweet_nothing 08-23-2008 05:55 PM

Abit perhaps but yes it is an amazing album and my first by Modest Mouse they really are great. The lead singer has a really unique voice.

"Lazer Guided Melodies" Spiritualized

I just love the rhythm section (William Carruthers and Johnny Mattlock), so far it's my favorite Spiritualized album.

I've only just got this album and I love it already. Trippy , weird , stupid & mind blowingly awesome is how I would describe it.

I have been reading up on a little and apparently a lot of Krautrock enthusiasts think it's a heap of shit.

Fuck em

For £3. Just filling in some blanks in my collection on hard copy as opposed to MP3 or CD-R. I hated this when it first came out, these days I think it is their best album.

Alfred 09-05-2008 05:50 PM

I just downloaded Cancer Bats' debut album, because Piss Me Off's post reminded me to check them out. It's REALLY good, reminds me of Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster, just more hardcore-influenced, and with like, no singing.

I love it though.

And at the moment I'm downloading both of Maylene's albums.

FrankieJayG 09-06-2008 12:20 AM

Metallica's Death Magnet and Young Jeezy's The Recession. All in all they were pretty good albums.

Haven't nabbed the debut yet but it's inevitable with how much i'm playing them. Surprisingly good for their name!
