I bought the 50 track edition of Pavement's Wowee Zowee. It was 15 dollars and that was just too good of a deal to pass up besides I figure I'll give them another chance even though I didn't like Slanted & Enchanted.
|
Wowee Zowee is actually my favourite Pavement album , although I seem to be alone in that.

http://www.plong.com/MusicCatalog%5C...nd%20Light.jpg This Dub/dance album seems to be a little harder to find these days. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...he_Infants.jpg The first two tracks warrant their own space. http://www.make-your-own-dance-and-t.../leftfield.jpg Classic album that I somehow have never got around to listening on a better sound system. OMG so ****ing funny Noel: Do you know John Lennon? Liam: Do you know him? Noel: I don't, but do you? Liam: Yeah. Noel: Well, you must be pretty old. How old are you? 21? Liam: No. About ****in' thousand and five ****in' one. Noel: You're 22. Liam: I'm 21. Noel: Right. And remember, I watched you being born, and I don't even know John Lennon. So shut the **** up about knowing John Lennon. Liam: Well what are you trying to say then? You want us to be teetotal and walk around and go like that (more mincing)? Noel: Music! Music! Music! Music! Music! Music! It's all about music! Liam: You want to be Keith Richards. Admit it. Noel: Let's talk about music. Let's not talk about you being a hard guy. Let's talk about music. Let's talk about music |

Is This Desire? is soooooo good. Its so underrated, but it gets better with every listen, its a very diverse album.

I'm looking forward to playing it. I got it on a whim when I picked up abattoir blues and remembered something about nick cave banging PJ at some point. Thus, the outcome of my hearty purchase.
