Miles Davis - Agharta and Pangaea, two double-disc live sets from the same day in Japan, last shows before his hiatus, electric funky blissadelics, Agharta might be more the thing in a lot of ways, but Pangaea (being mellower and even classically "jazzy" in places) is perfect for certain moods. Each disc consists of a few 25 to 45 minute long tracks.
Jimi - Complete Winterland Recordings and Baggie's Rehearsal Tapes. Haven't listened to all of Winterland yet, though I know I'll be excited about bits and maybe a little bored by others (how many times I need to hear different live versions of Purple Haze? On the other hand there's lots of good Voodoo Child and Are You Experienced and Hear My Train and so forth). Baggie's has AMAZING tones, the Band Of Gypsys is always worth hearing more of, totally worth any fan's time |
TV On The Radio- Dear Science
Haven't listened to it yet. Any good? |

Great album! Vol. 3 is just as good. Have you heard any of these albums? Roy Orbison: Mystery Girl Tom Petty: Full Moon Fever George Harrison: Cloud Nine Bob Dylan: Under The Red Sky All four albums have at least one other "Wilbury" on them (the Dylan album is the least Wilbury-like, but the others are produced by Jeff Lynne). They're all worth hearing. |

Just bought the New Trapt (Only Through The Pain) and 12 Stones (Anthem For the Underdog) albums. I really like Trapt but I dont really like this album. I really like 12 Stones and this album fits perfectly into their catalog.

The latest album from one of the few metal bands that have piqued my interest over the last year or two. Well played, good musicianship and not pointlessly abrasive for the sake of it. A slight whiff of experimental on the album too. |

I only have this and their previous 'From Mars To Sirius' which is great. Here is a live vid. Tight as buggery and what a drummer:
I would start with their new one. |
Tight indeed, christ he made it look like a piece of piss! I'm definitely getting on that.
