littleknowitall 03-05-2006 04:30 AM

last 4 albums i bought-

the wildhearts - strike back
the jimi hendrix experience - axis: bold as love
queen - flash gordon
iron maiden - death on the road.

LostPhil 03-05-2006 07:09 AM

Last 2 bought (at the same time):
Spoon - Gimme Fiction, I'm loving this and it's not grating on repeated listens.
The Kooks - Inside In The Inside Out, meh, liked it at first but it's getting worse with repeated listens.

I've got 2 more on the way:
A - Teen Dance Ordinance, loved A vs. Monkey Kong & Hi Fi Serious so this should be good. Been a fan for years and they're awesome live.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's album, fingers crossed this should be good. Has a good bit of praise on MB.

I've only heard a couple songs from "Terria", but what I did hear...well, it didn't quite captivate me. Maybe I just started with the wrong album.

I love Pavement. Wowee Zowee is a great CD. Serpentine is a favorite song of mine.

sleepy jack 03-08-2006 07:07 PM

Billy Talent "Billy Talent"
Ace Troubleshooter "The Madness Of The Crowds"
and i'm going to download the new hawthorne heights albums. I read some good things about it, I doubt i'll like it. But I am curious.

bungalow 03-08-2006 07:14 PM

On that thought, I am going to the CD store tonight, and I'm gonna
buy the new Ne-Yo album!

Did anyone actually find out if ROCK won this epic battle?

Muzak 03-08-2006 07:43 PM

Dragonforce- Sonic Firestorm

Merkaba 03-08-2006 09:09 PM

AC/DC - The Razors Edge

Guns N Roses - Live 87-93.

You can hear Axl's voice detereorate throughout the 2nd CD, I assume this is heading toward the 1993 stage when he's totally hammered his performance with piss and smokes.

It's So Easy is pretty bloody good though. And the start of Welcome To The Jungle, Axl just screams "DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE **** YOU ARRRRRREEEEEE?! Waaaaaaake upppp! Time to Diiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee!" Really well done I must admit. The rest is average-good.

white_powered_zombie 03-09-2006 12:33 AM

I been meaning to get Guns N Roses but i haven't so my latest is an aussie band called sacre bleu!

Merkaba 03-10-2006 01:05 AM

I think I know them. What's one of their singles?

Haha and you should just get that live Cd for the intro to WTTJ. Axl nails it....as far as Axl nailing things goes.

Rocket Queen is rather good too.

lyricalgirl 03-10-2006 03:56 AM
