Got Black Up and Lese Majesty on CD as a gift. Black Up came in felt but the Lese Majesty didn't come in gold, weird. Mostly gonna use it when cruising with the mates. I know a dude with a dank system in his vehicle that I'm gonna hit up just to hear them on that ****. Totally worth spending a few hours with a douchenozzle.

Low - Things We Lost in the Fire I think Alan and Mimi have some of the most incredible complementary voices I've heard across music. The way they harmonize together is seriously so rich and gorgeous. Probably Low's best album. https://e.snmc.io/lk/s/l/7cc769ef5a7...b8/1254737.jpg Life Without Buildings - Any Other City This album is ****ing annoying. I don't give out a lot of 1's but I spent the whole thing waiting for it to end. God damn. Thankfully this was their first and last album because Jesus. |

Prurient - Frozen Niagara Falls This is my first foray into anything Prurient. Believe it or not, this dude has been making waves since the early oughts. I didn't know this. So Frozen Niagara Falls. I guess the best way to describe it's sound is glitchy, ambient, noise, gutteral screams, and a dose of "Why the fuck am I listening to this". I don't know if I love it, or if I want to love it because it gives me street cred. I'll side with both options. |

Trying to give this a go. At one point I stopped and told myself "I'm listening to a washing machine turn into a synthesizer. That's cool." |

PUP - PUP Pretty decent punk/hardcore/pop punk hybrid with a a song or two that could've done better on a b-sides compilation 3-4 years later. |
Bought these two gems yesterday:

Built To Spill - You In Reverse I can't remember the last time listening to a band that sounded so distinctly "indie". If you're looking for some fire indie rock, look no further. Built To Spill has your back. |

Alex Cameron - Forced Witness I think this album finally hit me. It's kinda sexy. Alex stud Cameron brings his A-game hysterical lyrics and somehow sounds like Bruce Springsteen circa 2005 if he was the singing in The Killers. I highly dig it. Dig it? |

Damn, now my top albums of 2017 entry won't seem as ahead of the curb. It's a ****ing great album though.
|
I was gonna recommend it to you specifically but I saw you listened to them on last.fm.

Health - Get Color Health have always sounded a little ahead of the curve. Not so much what they've done within the past few years, but this record and and their debut have always sounded like neo-futuristic soundtracks to some impending apocalyptic doom. I really enjoy this LP. |
Yep yep

Spoiler for big cover:
I can't figure out if I love or hate this album. There are moments where it goes for gold in its epicness, but interspersed (probably making up the majority of the album) is some of the most boring unbearable music. |

Clarence Clarity - No Now Sorry this is such a big picture, but Clarence deserves it. I've been ignorant towards discovering music out of my comfort zone these past couple years, but I'm catching up. I don't even know how to describe this. It's funky, is synthy, a little icy, soulful, and something you've never heard before. |
