The Voodoo Trombone Quartet - Again

This is a very catchy and fun album that has some classic, funk, jazz, ska and pop elements to it. Seriously an album to consider looking for if you're in the mood for something upbeat and cheerful.

Zombie Ghost Train - Glad Rags and Body Bags

Aussie pyschobilly (or horrorbilly) band that sounds like fun. I'm sure they'll suck, but you never know...

Risil - Non Meters Vol. 1
Finally got a hold of this...it supposedly came out in October last year but has been on back order everywhere most of the time since (and nowhere to be found digitally) so it seemed it was never actually released. The project consists of Guillermo Herren (Prefuse 73, Savath & Savallas, etc), Zach Hill (Hella), Tyondai Braxton (Battles), John McEntire (Tortoise), Alejandra Deheza (School of Seven Bells), and Eva Puyuelo Muns (Savath & Savalas). I'm not entirely sure if it's a rotating cast or what. And I have no idea what to expect. Hopefully something better than Guillermo and Zach Hill's last collaboration, the massive fail that was Diamond Watch Wrists.
