Really like this album. No surprise at all to see it top RYM's list for 2013.

The Flaming Lips - The Terror (2013)
Not a bad album, not a particularly great one either. This album is among their more experimental material and quite far from the more pop-orientated sounds of At War With The Mystics. It's very rhythm-based and manages to create an interesting mood in places, but doesn't seem to maintain it's focus across the entire album.

im not used to buying music, i rather listen to stuff online.. or find people that share stuff trough P2p networks..

but the last cd i bought was online trough amazon, it was "Common Margins by Michael Sokolowski / Tim Reynolds".

amazing music, improvisations for piano and guitar with no added overdubs. it has some sweet moments in some tracks.

Adam Ant - The Hits (I forgot how revolutionary he sounded)
Sarah McClachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy (worth it for the title track alone which is one of the finest Female singer/songwriter tracks put down)
Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must Go

Listened to:
Rush - Clockwork Angels (wow! bands can fade into obscurity and cling onto their commercial success or go back to their roots and kick ass - Rush sound as heavy as they ever have)
Hollie Cook - S/T (An average roots reggae album boosted by some decent rhythm work and great vocals)
