Here's a few of mine I got recently-

B.B. King - Indianola Mississippi Seeds (1970)

Thought I prepared myself adequately, but still blew my mind at just how sharp this material is. B.B. King may be overrated in some aspects, but I think this album deserves its classic status in the annals of blues-fusion, and I'm verrrry glad I got it!

ELP - Emerson, Lake & Palmer (1970)

Yes, this trio of virtuosos gave prog. rock a bad name six years down the line from here, but that doesn't change the fact this is one fuckin' hell of a debut. More cohesive and less bombastic than you'd expect, I can see how this album, along with In the Court of the Crimson King and Fragile, turned progressive rock into a worldwide phenomenon for the first half the decade, and recommended to people who want a good starting place to get into this band (and classic prog. in general).

Sunday All Over The World - Kneeling at the Shrine (1991)

It's hard to take offense to King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp when he's involved in neat little studio projects like this, especially with his angelic sounding wife Toyah Wilcox on vocals. Very difficult to categorize though; Is it art-rock? Prog-pop? Freak folk? Who knows! Every track here is something absolutely awesome, and definitely worth a look for those seeking the experimental side of pop music.

yeah!
i have 'Knife-Edge' on a box-set of the Island label in the sixties, that was always a highlight before i knew what 'prog' even was. Sounded a bit like early Crimson. this is worth watching just for Keith Emerson's crappy solo on his huge unwieldy oscillator the size of a small room

The Sound of Animals Fighting- The ocean and the Sun. Thus completing my TSOAF discography.

Comus- First Utterance. I was pleasantly surprised. The leads' high register is fantastically demented.
