lol @ stones hate. Thats not unpopular.

Punk and Joe Strummer are not heterogeneous. Punk goes the way of Joe and if you're not like Joe Strummer you're just some angsty soical reject who cared more about shocking people so someone would actually pay attention to you than the music you "played"

I don't hate the Stones; actually, I really like Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers (and parts of Exile), but the Kinks are much better. Now the Beatles, that's a band I do hate.


The Clash are one of the phoniest punk bands of the 1970's, in my opinion. The modern day Buzz****s have more bite. If Strummer is the definition of punk, then I guess I don't like punk music. I'll take the worst Pistols track over the best Clash track anyday (another semi-unpopular opinion?).
