I think Tupac and Biggie are both pretty meh but agree that Biggie's a bit better.

The album is fantastic, it can't be stated enough.

I'd actually say go with Petitioning the Empty Sky for a full album. I know Jane Doe is considered their classic, but after many listens I think it might be just a tad overrated. Petitioning is heavier, while not quite as diverse, but I think the added diversity of Jane Doe possibly watered down Converge's sound without making up enough of the difference with creativity.




But Jane Doe is still awesome.

I think the content and image biggie illustrated in Ready To Die can transcend personal tastes. A truly phenomenal album

Both Biggie and 2Pac are boring to me. Biggie better on the mic, 2Pac has the better output.

Wouldn't listen to either of them now although JC you are pretty much spot on with what you said about 2Pac fans. That used to be me :D

I love going to pool halls and seeing young Mexican adults singing every word to Eminem songs. It's hilarious, yet a disgrace at the same time.

The only thing that really bothers me about their fans is that so many of them feel the need to choose one over the other, as if it's still the mid-90s and they still need to pick a side.

I initially read that as sluts. gave this a slightly different meaning.

Sluts, too. Anybody really that raps every word to Eminem songs, especially obscure ones need to die.
