I have zero theory and don't know how to read music. I 100% learned by ear from the bands/artists I enjoyed and then by practicing my ass off so that I could play pretty much whatever I wanted: blues, rock, pop, fusion, heavy metal, thrash, neo-classical, progressive, classical, folk, blah blah blah.

And like Frown said, there's only 2 kinds of music. Good and bad "in the ears of any single listener"

My good could be your bad, and my bad could be your good. Doesn't make either of us right or wrong. But I bet we could find quite a bit of common ground.

If it weren't for Dime I probably wouldn't have picked up the guitar so early, so he'll always get a nod from me. Wish his bands weren't so ****ing cheesy though.
