I don't really care about hipsters I just like being inflammatory.

You were in band in high school? No offense but you've been ruined.

Haha yeah I was. I spent four years growing resentment for my teacher. It's partially why I started to explore experimental music because I was so fed up with the terrible music he had us constantly play and listen to.

I always considered it but thank god I went for the organic approach. I still appreciate theory and want to go deeper into it (I have a beginner to intermediate knowledge at this time) but I think that it puts you in such a bull**** position where you're forced into thinking that you have to be a bitch as a musician if you use it as a foundation and kids think that this is what music is and that's really sad and run on sentences for life.

Actually pushed me in the opposite direction, but I do love that I know some theory.

I think theory can push you into some fascinating directions. It doesn't have to be a cause of typical music. Knowing it truly can create incredible fascinating pieces of music from multiple angles. Brian Ferneyhough is a great example.

Frownland makes music that's way too poppy. I mean he might as well be Beatles cover band #1,428,495,182
