Agree.

Grindy is one of the forum's good guys but I just cannot agree with this Metallica opinion.

Sad to see.

I'd love to see a reasoning. I don't think Metallica are anywhere near what they used to be. And what they used to be got lost years ago.

The Black Album ruined Metallica. Load and Reload aren't quite as bad but not by all that much.

Reasoning...
They just don't sound good to me and aren't any fun listening to.
The vocals might be the worst thing. Just not my cup of tea.
I've tried the supposedly good albums many times. I will try again.
So far it just didn't work for me.

I was asking monkey. He said you were wrong in your original opinion so I wanna know what's redeeming about them at the moment. Otherwise I agree with you. I don't mind their old stuff but I don't actively listen to it.

Or were you implying you literally hate all of Metallica? Idk anymore. Maybe I didn't take your original post literally. I figured you were using "all of it" for emphasis.

Who is Monkey? I think you mean Fluff.

They have some tracks I like. Really good ones.
