No not a specific two, just 2 in general.

I'm indifferent to hair metal and glam metal. Bit shit, but I don't care about it enough to hate it. That said, I do like some Grunge.

Unlike like my favorite albums, which leave me a feeling of awe when they complete.
out of curiosity, what tracks do something for you and what tracks do nothing?

No Surprises (a lot of nostalgia in this one though, so I doubt it counts), Lucky, The Tourist, Exit Music (For A Film) were the big ones.

Like I said no song on the album is bad, but they rarely leave a lasting impression. I still listen to it on occasion, though.

Shangri-Las are soooooo overratedddd. I guess they have a certain appeal but "Remember (Walking in the Sand)" is weird......dumb.....just plain BAD, even.

Well, OKC leaves me feeling very empty, but, like, in a good way. I love the atmospheric music and the different arrangements swirling around the room, and the softest layers of sound you can hear if you turn it up.

but i suppose this is the album whose lyrics resonate with me the most, the themes of technology, issues in society, isolation, those sorts of subjects moves me the most.

But to each his/her own.

OK Computer is one of those albums where you really had to be there to get the most impact from it. if you weren't already fed up with having formulaic pop garbage forced onto you in 1997 i really don't see how that album could ever live up to its hype to your ears.

on the other hand when you're in your late teens and still thinking Sir Psycho Sexy is the most epic thing you've ever heard and then catch the video for Paranoid Android after watching All Saints on mute... heads explode.

Yeah, no doubt. I'm sure it was revolutionary at the time. I did manage to connect with Kid A about 8 years after it was released though, regardless of that kind of impact.

Those kind of things must be exciting. Seeing as I've only been into music for 4-5 years now, I haven't gotten to see anything too towering happen in music. I'm just going to keep waiting.

Honestly, not really. I half liked the album at the time but I remember feeling like overall it didn't add up to much and wasn't nearly as interesting as it seemed like it should have been.

So true. And I'll add that it actually saved the band's contemporary reputation as a mediocre band who had one hit (Creep). They were a one-hit wonder for sure until OK Computer came out. Still, lots of people still gave no shit until the next one came out. Then the band was the comeback of the century. And now.. well I don't think I need to say more.

It seriously amazed me to see young kids get into Kid A as much as they did. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they only liked crap like Korn and Marilyn Manson at that point.
