Everyone knows that one. I was talking more about style than melodies.

Clearly Sublime weren't anything groundbreaking. 311 did that kinda thing better.

I guess it depends on what Paloma meant by ripping off, did she mean straight up stealing melodies and riffs and sh*t. Well that wasn't what I thought she meant.

I just don't see how being influenced by a lot of bands make you unoriginal especially if you mix all that together to create your own style. Maybe that isn't what Sublime did and they directly ripped off some band I haven't heard.

But The Clash were certainly original and I hate when people call them a ripoff and then cite as proof by listing all their f*cking influences which is goddamn retarded.

OK Computer is a epically (spell?) fantastic album, one of my favourite albums and my username + sig is named after one of the songs on it.

'Epically' is surprisingly a word, according to my spellcheck.

Yes, I noticed the comment might arouse something out of you as you seem to like it on those grounds, but I don't find it to be a bad album in any way. The problem with OKC is it doesn't make me feel anything. Aside from a few tracks, but from all of the praise it's gotten, I'd always thought it would leave me impacted. Unlike like my favorite albums, which leave me a feeling of awe when they complete.

That's not unpopular.
Hell I reckon 99% of the members of this forum would say they hate at least two of those you mentioned.
