If a band has technical prowess of which they like to demonstrate then that is "boring" and "unhip".

Word of advice to any aspiring musician wanting critical acclaim, do NOT learn how to play your instrument.

Matthew Bellamy is an absolutely brilliant guitarist. Muse have 2 albums that are untouchable.
