In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is one of the best albums ever made

EDIT: i guess i should explain why this is unpopular.
there is so much hate on this album it's ridiculous. the words hipster, pitchfork, and pretentious get thrown around anytime this album is brought up (or IIIII LOOOOOVE UUU JESUS CHRIST). I honestly love this album, all of it. I feel like it sometimes gets way to much flack because of its fanbase.

I think this is a perfect example of an album that gets both undeserving hate and undesrving praise at the same time. People tend to love it or hate it. In other words, the opinion is neither popular or unpopular.

Like Sidewinder said, it's neither popular nor unpopular. If anything, the majority of people love the album because of how highly regarded it is. But you do get a few h8ers, but I'm with you. One of the best albums ever made.

despite what most metal elitists say, electronic music actually does have talent. Last time I checked, there was more musical enjoyment involved with aphex twin than whatever hardcorer-than-thou incredibly loud I-can-play-faster-than-you metal the metal elitists listen to.

have you been completely ignorant of my posts? I'm a Post-Rock fan, so I can't be an electronica elitist. usually elitists ignore everything outside of their genre and say everything else is talentless or whatever. And plus I only listen to, like, two electronic genres. IDM and Ambient.

If so, no, and I ask you to actually try to learn one before making ridiculous statements.
