But seriously, Vanilla, I'm not sure if I understand how your post relates to Freebase's. I would say the vast majority of making electronic music doesn't involve playing the keyboard at all.

I wasn't talking about electronic music, I was talking about keyboards in general....I'm confused by your response...

Ah, I assumed you were talking about electronic music since your post was a reply to Freebase's comments about making electronic music versus playing live instruments.

Oh no you didn't.

The Smashing Pumpkins have one really good album, but it's Adore. I think that's probably just as unpopular of an opinion.

Pomegrant 08-10-2010 08:59 PM

I think Gish is my favorite.

I agree that the above comments are unpopular opinions... i don't agree with said unpopular opinions, however... not one little bit!

Siamese Dream? Mellon Collie? :----(

Violent & Funky 08-10-2010 09:10 PM

 Siamese Dream is a masterpiece...

scottsy 08-10-2010 09:15 PM

I am probably biased, but I actually love all of their stuff... I recognize that they have some albums that are stronger than others, but overall, i think they have a pretty darn good output... looking forward to collecting more of the new stuff they are currently producing and releasing in small quantities...

Overall, as far as official full release, non B -side or box set SP albums go, my preferences are...

1. Mellon Collie
2. Siamese Dream
3. Adore
4. Machina
5. Gish
6. Zeitgiest
7. Machina II

And the difference in terms of my own preferences between those is really all that huge...
