Who needs these modern popettes with their plastic boobs and production line songs - ain't none of them hotter than Nancy, and this is still the best version of this song EVER!

Robert Plant solo in the 80's and 90's was better than Zeppelin. Although that might cross over from "unpopular" to "blasphemy"

Not sure if this is unpopular, but I listened to Mastodon's Leviathan and thought it was great, then listened to Crack the Skye and couldn't stand it. What the hell happened? Did the old vocalist quit? Where did the intense sludgy metal go, and who replaced it with this bland prog-rock?

This is one of the best albums of their 70`s output, my fav though has to be "Freeze Frame" which is very different to their 70`s output. Peter Wolf was always a great vocalist as well.

Apart from "Fate of Nations" his solo stuff is well below the quality of Zeppelin and I find most of it quite boring now.

freeze frame has some awful filler like river blindness that i can't stand. nightmares is another great album with no weak tracks

Nightmares is one of the few albums of theirs that I haven`t heard but about a year ago, I bought a 5 pack album collection of theirs dirt cheap! Which included the first 4 studio albums and their first live album.

I like Wavves a lot, I really like the distortiony, occasionally synthy vibe of King of the Beach. I don't know if it gets such a bad rep around here because Nathan is an attention whore indie darling or because you can't appreciate pop but I dig it.

I love when people fight over music that is like 50-years-old and say it's better than music today and "revolutionized" music. Get real.

Music evolves just like everything else. Music now is way different and can't even be compared anymore. But I will say that modern music (not crappy pop or rap stuff) sounds better than The Beatles or whatever.
