no, she is right for disagreeing.

FaceFace sounds like a 10 year old trying to sound cool by denouncing something cause it is "old"...

There is maybe 5%* truth to what FaceFace said to 95% ignorance.

*"music evolves just like everything else." makes up the 5%.

The production is rawer and angrier so it naturally ends up sounding sloppier. It makes sense for the tone of "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back", which is an album that is mostly rage and anger. Fear of a Black Planet had detailed production and it matches with the articulate arguments that are on it.

Just compare "She Watches Channel Zero?!" with something like "Brothers Gonna Work it Out". It makes sense.

"She Watches Channel Zero?!" is actually the only highlight on there for me. it's less of a raw/angry sound and more just samples and structures that DON'T work for the songs. idk, the whole thing was just a blurry mess to me.

Limp Bizkits' cover of "faith" is a good song.
No. But then I have the strange opinion that the "Behind Blue Eyes" cover is good.

that is even worse. Ruined by the speak and spell.

I remember my friend dumped a girl he wass seeing in the mall cause she wanted to buy the CD and he just said "why dont you just buy The Who instead", to which she said "cause The Who suck" and he just said "we're done" and left her there holding the CD.

I don't understand why people hate that version. It's musically sound, the singing is okay, and the recording quality beats the ---- out of the original.

Do you mean the keyboards?

I don't know what makes it so soulless. Fred's singing isn't passionate, but I think he is feeling it and doing a deliberately muted version.
