Once upon a time, Patrick O'Hearn had a wonderful day job as a bassist for Frank Zappa. He then went on to become one of the most successful "New Age" artists of all time, and gorgeous guitar-led cuts like this are evidence of why.

I kind of agree, but only because it's not really accurate to label the first two Catherine Wheel albums as solely Shoegaze.
