Are you trying to say that Nikki Minaj's rump goes flat like Tom Waits' voice?

Usually, because they have years to craft the first, only months to put together the 2nd and subsequent. The 2nd statement is witless and thus not worthy of a reply.

Not all the time, there are some good second albums. Not all of them have the "sophomore jinx."

Cirith Ungol's second album is considered their best, and often times considered one of the finer works of 80s underground metal. Just one great example that comes to mind.

But excellent point jazzbo.

Mayhem is definitely the most black metal band there is, unfortunately their music sucks. And I love me some black metal.

Killers > Iron Maiden
Ride The Lightning > Kill Em All
Hell Awaits > Show No Mercy
Paranoid > Black Sabbath
Peace Sells > Killing Is My Business
Watching From A Distance > The Strength to Dream
Unquestionable Presence > Piece of Time
Mental Funeral > Severed Survival (just a little)
LZII > LZI
A Blaze In The Northern Sky > Soulside Journey
To Mega Therion > Morbid Tales
Black Metal > Welcome To Hell
Schizophrenia > Morbid Visions
Pleasure To Kill > Endless Pain
Persecution Mania > Obsessed By Cruelty
Eternal Devastation > Infernal Overkill
etc

I don't know, maybe the "first album better than all" rule doesn't apply in Metal Land or something.

I have the theory that the first album an individual has heard from any particular band has a greater chance of being the best to said individual than the band's actual debut.

Rock Hall of Fame nominated Chic again lets see if they actually get in this time. I have not a clue why they nominated Green Day what a load of bullISH.

lol

I had not heard of this person. I looked him up on youtube.

He can not sing worth a damn and what he does is no different than...nevermind. I will just say I was shocked to see he was inducted in the RHOF.
