Impact isn't really tangible, unless youre using it as a straight synonym for "$ made" or something similar. Which is just a cop out in my mind.

Not only is it weird that he did it, but even weirder to me is it was directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

More purchases is more listens, more listens is more chances to make an impact or influence someone who might aspire to become a musician. It also makes your record company more money, which is about the most tangible impact that I can think of.

another reason im surprised ppl never bring it up.

i once heard Kevin smith say Prince has alot of unreleased music videos stored in his house. According to him they're fully shot videos that are finished but Prince for some reason just didn't release them.
