I imagine this isn't that unpopular but most band interviews are boring ****, especially if they're in print.

Interviewer: So what's touring like?

Guitarist: Just like every other ****ing band's tour.

Interviewer: Is your new album any good?

Guitarist: No it sucks.

Bassist: But we're contractually obligated to say otherwise.

i think that has to do with the fact that most bands probably just do interviews for the free promo time

they’re not there to entertain you, they just want to trick you into hearing their new ****

Also, by then they've probably done about ten interviews saying the same things. Must get boring. Hard to keep the enthusiasm going when all you want it to go get blasted out of your skull.

This why I don't watch interviews from people like Bryan stars(Am I thinking of the right person?). He asks such uninteresting stupid questions. Ffs. Ask him about the music! Ask him about the lyrics or the inspiration. Ask him about what he's there to promote.
