Better than Dookie?!

I love Dookie, but American Idiot is second for me. I dunno why American Idiot gets stick, it was one of the first rock albums I got into, I'll still listen to it from time to time.

Overexposure IMO is why people hate it so much.Lord knows I was sick of everyone of those singles from it.

Also, most of the bands that the emo elitists reject as being emo (Fall Out Boy, MCR, etc) are better than most of the so called “real” emo bands.

And I'm not sure if I said this before, but Panic at the Disco's cover of 'Karma Police' is waaaaay better than the original imo.

This. I loved the album when it first came out, but after a while if I had to hear "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" ever again, I'd find Billie Joe Armstrong and kill him myself. The only song I can really listen to off of it now is "Jesus of Suburbia".
