I don't like the NME, so i don't buy it. I dont feel the need to bitch about how much i don't like it.

I have never, ever, been on Pitchfork. The opinions of strangers who i know nothing about really does not matter enough to me to go and judge the place.

I like 80's ballads...

Like Surviver, Outfields, Journey, Starship, and all those other bands that would fit this type of music.

I think maybe it's because they're my dad's favourites, but I'm pretty fond of them myself.

This song is awesome.

I like some others from this era too, before I really got into music. I still have appreciation for the pop gems of my youth though. Starship I don't know, I had two of their tapes but that's just kind of embarassing now.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet was one my first loved albums, but the others didn't have a part in my childhood. The Journey one I'm well familiar with but I can't say I ever liked it.

Hey I still like Journey. At least with Steve Perry. They're not that bad.

I'm not too big on that new singer though. But Steve Perry can SING!

Very true, facepalms are definitely something that shouldn't be posted anymore. It's just beating a dead horse at this point
