Never Better is P.O.S.'s weakest album, even if it is still very solid

It was just plain BORING, man. I forgot most of it about an hour after listening to it.

here's another unpopular music opinion!
IDM > Dubstep

I don't get the dubstep hype. IDM's hype is for a good reason. IDM is actually interesting, not just another cookie-cutter staring contest genre between producers to see who's better at making a bassline.

Personally I love both.

Manners is a good album. I'm excited to see them open for Muse in September.

Bear in mind that IDM is a much more generalized classification of music than dubstep, and can loosely be referred to anything that doesn't use a prescribed cliche beat.

I personally hate a lot of the "synthy" bass lines in dubstep ,which is why I don't listen to a lot of it, but I definitely think that there's a lot of room for creativity within the genre that hasn't been explored yet.

The main focus in Dubstep is the bassline, so it naturally gets the most attention. When I first started hearing Dubstep, I didn't like it because I thought it was too simple and I was more loyal to Drum & Bass, which Dubstep seemed to be borrowing too much from, for my comfort. But after a while I warmed up to it when the genre started clicking with me.
It's a vibe thing. Good Dubstep gets you focused on a single emotion and vibe and lets you ride it and not really have to focus on everything that's going on in the song. Dubstep should be critiqued at how well it does that, not how technical or crazy the sounds are.
You just have to be receptive to the idea for it to ever work.

Maybe in topsy turvy land. 2pac is the only one fritter mentioned that doesn't do it for me.

I'm also puzzled as to how and why a fan of Iggy Pop, Danzig and Joy Division would hate The Doors. That's like being a Beatles hating Oasis fan.

personally I don't think all of those artists suck but they're definitely all overrated.
Not as overrated as The Stooges.

Or The Clash actually.

Why? The vocal style is really the only thing about the Doors that's similar to those artists.
