Every other song on "London Calling" fails to live up to the title track.

And I don't even like the title track, which has kept me from ever listening to that album.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Yes, Justin Chancellor does play with a pick, and I really enjoy his playing. Also:

Roger Waters
Phil Lesh
Mike Gordon
Allen Woody
Carol Kaye

And even Paul McCartney. I mean, I love the sound of it, even when it's not being used for heavier music. There's something about the sound of a pick on the bass that gets me super-pumped.

Granted, there are good bassists who use their fingers, of course, I just prefer the sound of the pick.

London Calling the song is terrible and The Card Cheat is the best track on that album.

But I almost prefer the sound of a bass guitar being played with a pick to the sound of a bass being played with fingers.
Steve Harris calls you out on that and after 60 million albums and a career spanning over 30 years, I'm cool with that.

And I've been here for about 2 minutes but now I know who has the smallest dick.....

I can't believe how many people hate "London Calling" and dig the lackluster that comes with most of the rest of the album.....
