I fell asleep listening to it the other night and I was half-way between falling asleep and staying awake and I'm positive the music made me have this horrible, HORRIBLE fucking nightmare. I didn't wanna fall back asleep thinking it'd just reoccur again.

that's what I call a fucking album

Thee Oh Sees new album is pretty good. Heard music like this so many times before though... it's kinda redundant.

Pharmakon - Bestial Burden

Forgive the awful album art and listen to this blend death metal and noise solo project. You won't regret it. If you find yourself regretting it, I regret to inform you that you probably don't have that great of taste in metal.

Did you get past the first track? That one doesn't really let you know what you're in for tbh. But it's cool if you don't dig it, you like Kayo Dot so your taste in metal is safe.

Also the new Prurient album is definitely a grower, it's one of my favourites of the year so far.

Seen them four times in the last three months. It's as safe as a safety deposit box mofo. I will say however that their new album branched away from what they are known for. It's good, but more in a post punk/new wave goth kind of way. Still some rippin' moments on there though.

Oh, and yeah I made it past the first track. It certainly got better. I just don't think I could sit down and actually listen to the whole album though unless I wanted to feel really weird the rest of the night.

Mount Eerie - Sauna

So, uhhhhh, this is really, really, really, really good.

Glad people are liking Sauna. One of his best albums under the Mount Eerie moniker yet IMO.

Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker

Another album I shouldn't of put off for 15 years. Very touching, poetic record.
