thanks alot appretiat the suggestion but I didn't really like any of those bands sorry (except rsuh of course) but thank you very much for the help

That list I put up aren't bands, they are songs from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack...

Rush is the song from the TV show..

And the POINT of this thread is to try new stuff out... Not to suggest bands you already know of... Did you listen to the electronic artists I suggested? Tobin would have to be my favourite...

anyone familiar with the song whatever (I had a dream) on the romeo and juliet soundtrack? I am addicted to the style, sound, everything of the last few lines: "...don't know where to shake my butt I was f---d like a fox...."

I've listened to some other b.surfer stuff and doesn't sound like that is typical...would you know of any other bands/songs that are a similar style? Generally I'm not into rap but I guess that would be sort of drum and bass slash rap..?

Good recco. Start here and work forward. Then dip into pre 'Green' era (my preference) as their early stuff was a little more experimental and less polished.

That true, although Document is a little more like there later albums. Especially The One I love, and Its the End of the World As We Know It.

I haven't heard much of this kind of music...but I'm thinking you might like MGMT. One of their songs I hear all the time lately is Electric Feel. There's another one out there but I don't know the title.
