I total agree on Tenacious D, these 2 are your typical fat creepy guys in theyre 30’s that are still waiting for their band to ‘take off’ the kind that hang out at your local record shop and Guitar Center, they have the sense of humor and lyrically skill of a 3rd grader and listen to "Target" Metal bands like AC/DC Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.............that's pretty much them. I get what they’re trying to do but they just fail and come off as tools. Also their movies are about as funny as a serial rapist.

Yes but they just fail at making it funny.
|
C'mon now, I think Jack Black is pretty funny.
|
Yeh as in actor in a movie, just not in music.
|
Frank Zappa was funny. Jack Black is a nuisance.
|
They do have some pretty good songs. Take the 9 minute City Hall from the self titled, or Beezleboss (The Final Showdown) from The Pick of Destiny. You cant some theres no laughter or talent put into that.
|
Jack Black is not funny.

KG is about as funny as your average fat bald guy.

So he's very funny then.

I've seen The Pick Of Destiny, and it was really stupid. Honestly the only funny part was Beezleboss.

http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l9...cell_phone.jpg 81 : PEOPLE WHO SPEND ENTIRE GIGS EITHER HOLDING A MOBILE PHONE UP IN THE AIR OR FIDDLING AROUND WITH IT Your shitty quality Youtube video of your favourite band playing your favourite song impresses nobody. Please stop uploading this shit so I don't have to skim through hundreds of shitty quality videos to find a good one. And people who spend the entire gig chatting on one also look like cunts too. |
God I really do hate that.

I think it's also funny how holding up a cellphone also seems to have replaced holding up a lighter during ballady songs.
|
Have you noticed the people who do it are always really tall as well?
I'll calm down now. |
I still hold a lighter up
But i'm just trying to melt their phones , nothing to do with ballads |
You know what pisses me off?
http://cityrag.blogs.com/photos/unca...moshgirl_1.jpg Mosh pits and "hardcore" dancing. I know rock n roll is supposed to be "dangerous" and even stupid but **** like that just makes concerts an unpleasant and horrific experience. |

I don't understand the appeal of it, I remember being at a Senses Fail concert, very small club and the music was just way too loud, and everyone is pushing me around even though I don't want to participate, meanwhile some drunk people are getting sick. Not my idea of fun.
|
Moshing and hardcore dancing are fine if they do it in their own space. I really don't care how they choose to enjoy themselves until its in my space.
|
Best thing to do in that situation is to spark up a fag.
I wish I had a quid for every t shirt i've burnt a hole into when some idiot dancer has gotten too close. |

Let's just say if anyone joins called music 'insert level of fanaticism here followed by a bunch of numbers' it's fair to say you're not going to get anything substantial out of them. |
