Well there you go! He was a country guy who appealed to more than just hicks and he started making records 40 years before Billy Ray Cyrus.

Yeah, that's very true, but to be fair, Billy Ray was just a bit more 'in fashion'. Johnny is a legend, more than Billy Ray will ever be. But we're differing from the point of my last entry, which was that I hate pop 'singers'.

I've learned a lot musically from him. All music has lessons to teach (except pop, chav music & elevator music).
He's taught me that you don't have to sing your lyrics or scream and shout them to get the song and the point across.

I'm diverse in my likes and dislikes. But I just prefer grunge and alternative.

I don't like Country either but a few of songs I really enjoy. Worth checking out no matter what.

i have tried listening to country (all types) and it just gives me a headache and then im in pain and i dont like it.
