I wanna share my horrified fascination with you guys. Let's post some horrible music videos.

I dare you to find something even worse than this video here. Vaginal fistula is cooler than this. I think it's the absolute worst music video I've ever seen in my entire life. The female singer looks like a cross between Art Garfunkel and a bean bag. A cat passing a kidneystone would sound more charming. I'm so puzzled by the mere fact something like this exists - and it doesn't seem to be a joke either.

I give you - Jan Terri's "Losing you".

I could swear there's a thread like this already, but I'm probably wrong.

All the same, that is pretty damn awful.

In this one, she looks like a human potato wrapped up in tin-foil. What the **** is going on here?

Which one is worse? I don't know. I think I'm getting a "losing you" earwig. Who the hell is Jan Terri anyways?!

JT, if you read this, what did we ever do to you? WHYYY?!

I honestly kind of liked the first to...the third one's just intolerable.

Really, her vocals are the only notably bad part of the music.

This however, is unexcusable.

I don't there is any better use of :whythis: smiley than for that video. There are bands at my school that can write better songs than that, plus the video looked like it cost $3 and a hobo with a video recorder. God.

Surely this atrocity from former US Attorney General John Ashcroft deserves a special mention in this thread:

Surely this overrated shite deserves a mention, the video is terrible and the song is just passable.

I actually kind of like that song.

Song's okay. Terrible video.

It's only bad because Chris Martian looks like a dancing twat, I sort of like the concept they went at.

Possibly the worst song I've heard all year with a horribly boring and unimaginative video - there are too many of these around today

because I can think of a fair share of songs that I love that have crappy videos.. but I still love them!

The 2nd, because a crappy video automatically makes the song sound worse.

That's what I'm leaning towards. I can forget about a bad song/bad video combo with no difficulty. It's listening to a great song and being reminded of a God-awful video that pains me. The video for Dylan's Jokerman comes to mind.

Have anyone not yet heard Leonard Nemoy's attempt at music? He had this song "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" ..



It's pretty bad, but at least it's funny. What the hell is up with that hobbit dance? Looks like they're trying to gnaw imaginary wood. I didn't know halflings were closely related to hares and rodents.

Yeah, see, I've always kind of loved that song in spite of it not being anywhere near Bruce's best work.

I will say that the video has held up a little better than a lot of the other stuff that was coming out at that time.

Good song, but the video is laughable.

worst?!!! are you kidding?!!! the Jan Terry and Sex over the Phone stuff is great (in a 'so bad it's good' type of way). Admit it--you had to watch the whole way through--like looking at a car accident. The coldplay stuff, on the other hand--click--next....

^Yes, it has a strange appeal. How can you not want to look at a singing beanbag with a tall hairdo? I find myself waiting for her to appear in the parts where she sings in front of the camera ..

I said almost the exact same thing, when it came out. Good concept that went wrong with bad dancing.
