I like early Eminem so that means I dislike his recent stuff.

From my point of view, as someone who's not a fanatical Hip Hop Fan the Rappers that have impressed me over time have been Eric B & Rakim, Eminem, & Big Daddy Kane. They've all kinda set out thier own stall with a unique voice and a power of delivery that can entrance the listener.

Not sure of the Correct artist here but also the
exceedingly excellent KRS1/Boogie Down Productions.
Excuse my ignorance as I say Hip Hop not really my bag.

Lol 2pac actually tends to reuse his rhymes. Probably the best efforts in having different rhymes was in All Eyez On Me but his other albums are just a little more than decent

in my opinion the best rappers/rap group is Rakim or Run-DMC, followed by The Roots, 2pac, Ice Cube and Nas

So the majority of people in this thread either are saying tupac or eminem. I can understand thinking that tupac is the best rapper ever even though I personally disagree but really eminem? I guess if you never bothered to listen to rap beyond what was on the top 40 you might think that.

And if you bothered to listen to Eminem's wordplay and flow, you wouldn't think like that!
