True but is there anything in his discog that's like it? I've played in a bluegrass gospel band and a Bullet for My Valentine cover band but it'd be pretty out of left field if I dropped an album in either of those styles.

There are ambient/vaporwavey textures that come out towards the end of the album that are closer to what I expected than the first few tracks btw.

He was real high on my 2019 list but I still think that loopy drone stuff is a genre that can get a fellow trapped so like opening up a new door is probably a good play.
