When I saw the Hives live it changed my mind about them, but in a different way. It's a bit strange really, but I used to love their studio output until I saw them live. It was a fantastic gig and everything, but made me realise they're a much better live band than they are in studio. It also helped that the album they released a few years after wasn't that great as well.

Well, once upon a time, back before Al Jourgensen was too much of a junky, they were an absolutely amazing and groundbreaking band. Maybe that's why you were listening to them.

Trencher, thought they were awful, then went to see them with a couple of friends at a tiny venue and they blew my mind, still the most intense gig i've ever been to.
