I'm trying to figure out if you think you're brilliant and novel or you just like being a pain in the ass. Debate the list.

Just because prog rock doesn't attract a lot of babes doesn't mean it's gay, it just means it's nerdy, lets not get the two confused. Prog is a very asexual genre if anything, sexual themes rarely ever come up. This is a pretty lame list, I can't find any consistancy and don't understand the criteria if there is one. How in the hell is Zen Arcade a gay album? Just because Bob Mould is gay? That's pretty weeeeeeeeeeak. Last edited by boo boo; 07-23-2010 at 12:51 PM. |

Not quite sure about the Bjork inclusion.
Bjork's Debut has more testosterone than I do. Glad to see Bryter Layter though.

Thank god for this, I say. Finally someone points out how tough woman and men in dresses are the real winners in music. From Patti Smith to The NYD's- just beautiful, some good ol' recognition. Seriously when do you ever even see Patti Smith or The NYD's on these boards? Or The Smiths for that matter, all I see of them on here is PMO's avatar... and he barely posts. Welcome back PMO btw. =) |

this list is bullshit, it's just a list of albums by homosexuals and androgynous personalities. nobody, and i mean NOBODY would think Husker Du's Zen Arcade was a "gay" album just by listening to it.

Yeah, that is a good point. It really doesn't have much to do with the albums themselves, like I think I saw Scissor Sisters on their, had no idea they were gay... if they are. Bikini Kill I could understand, but didn't Bowie take back being Bi-sexual? Are they just making fun of his album covers or what?

Yeah, this was the album I was going to point out. Is someone in Husker Du ***? I don't have the slightest idea why this is on the list. Same with Candy Apple Grey. And even more so, why the hell is Nevermind on this list? I haven't the slightest idea how you could consider Nevermind to be a *** album. I can understand the David Bowie, in a way... but Nirvana?

It also is problematic that they don't give us any write ups for most of the albums, and we're just left to guess as to why say Tapestry is ***er than Bryter Layter. |
