I would disagree because I think Summer in Abaddon is the one I'm probably least likely to put first, however, I rate all of their albums at the same level of quality despite their differences. It's an odd thing, they're probably the only band whose albums I couldn't even begin to put in order. Actually, I find it tough to order albums with bands I'm a big fan of, I tend to like all or most of their albums equally with one or two standouts.

Alright, we'll just agree that overall Pinback is orgasmic.

Here are some more. Some I tried, but really can't put some albums above or below others, many are equally good in my book.

Pixies (I don't know why bother):
Surfer Rosa >>> Doolittle > Trompe le Monde > Bossanova

David Bowie (there are some I haven't heard):
Hunky Dory > Ziggy Stardust > Aladdin Sane > The Man Who Sold the World > Low > Diamond Dogs > Space Oddity >>> Young Americans

Built to Spill:
Keep It Like a Secret > There's Nothing Wrong with Love > Perfect from Now On > (Ancient Melodies of the Future, You in Reverse and There Is No Enemy I like equally) > Ultimate Alternative Wavers

Download:
The Eyes of Stanley Pain > Furnace > III > Fixer > Effector > Helicopter > Charlie's Family

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead:
Madonna > Source Tags & Codes > s/t > The Century of Self > So Divided >>> Worlds Apart

Polvo:
Today's Active Lifestyles > Exploded Drawing > In Prism > Cor-Crane Secret > Shapes

Sebadoh:
Harmacy > Bakesale > The Sebadoh > Bubble & Scrape > III

Ween:
The Mollusk > White Pepper > Chocolate and Cheese > Pure Guava > Quebec > The Pod > God Ween Satan > 12 Country Greats > La Cucaracha

Faith No More:
Angel Dust > The Real Thing > Album of the Year > King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime > Introduce Yourself > We Care a Lot

The Mars Volta:
De-Loused in the Comatorium > Amputechture > Octahedron > The Bedlam in Goliath > Frances the Mute

Deftones:
Around the Fur > White Pony > Adrenaline > Deftones > Diamond Eyes > Saturday Night Wrist

Yes:
Fragile > The Yes Album > Close to the Edge > Tales From Topographic Oceans > Drama > Relayer > Going for the One > Yes > Time and a Word > 90125

King Crimson:
In the Court of the Crimson King > Red > In the Wake of Poseidon > Larks' Tongues in Aspic > The Power to Believe > Lizard > Starless and Bible Black > Islands > Discipline > Thrak

The Kinks:
Arthur or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire > The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society > Something Else by The Kinks > Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround (Part One) > Muswell Hillbillies > Face to Face > Preservation Act 1 > The Kinks Kontroversy > Preservation Act 2

Lagwagon:
Double Plaidinum > Hoss > Let's Talk About Feelings > Blaze > Resolve > Trashed

Clark/Chris Clark:
Body Riddle > Empty the Bones of You > Turning Dragon > Clarence Park > Totems Flare

Phew, that was a lot of work! Even while using my RYM ratings as a rough guideline.

Indeed. No sense putting one above the other.

Wow dude what's up with your bottom album for these two lists? Are you intentionally putting two of the most highly regarded, best selling albums from the band to make some sort of pretentious, elitist statement? Do you pride yourself on not liking the most popular albums by bands? It's the only explanation.

Why does it make him elitist because he doesn't like a highly-rated album? I myself don't care much for The Wall either. It might not be the very last on my list, but it sure wouldn't be in the top 3/4.

I'm just genuinely surprised he could hate such highly regarded albums so much (that, even if overrated, are still good) over duds like The Division Bell or Somewhere in Time. Putting both their most well regarded albums below 15 or so others seems borderline suspicious to me.

I figured someone was going to say something, but I think Trompe le Monde is really underrated, its just 15 good to great pop songs. But the Pixies were so freakishly consistent that the order could be subject to change.
