That song has the best guitar riff(s) I've heard since 2002 if you ask me. The riffs carry the song all by itself, and you don't find that much. The big issue with it is the singer, but anyone who has listened to rock for the past 20 years knows that beggars can't be choosers. Although it gets no love whenever I've shared it 'round the Nets, it's better than any ****ty Foo Fighters song of the same era. Cool beans with the harmonies point, though.

I can get on-board with the loose nature of the bandwork, which is a little jammy without being too annoying about it. Even though it doesn't feel that different from Nirvana, and my initial thought was that the singer was channeling some John Lennon ("this senseless violence" in what sounds like a British accent), the main issue with the song that it takes 7:53 to do what it already did in half that time. Songs like this are better once you're more familiar with them, over time, than upon first listen.

The Gnod track was some serious Public Image Limited worship.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? Virus? QOTSA? Ty Segall? And that's without getting into metal. It's aight if you dig it though, that's just one hell of a statement.

Late night jams here.

A bit of a throwback sound; it's pleasant. The image that comes to mind is that it makes me feel like I'm a set designer from the '60s whose task it is to create a lounge scene for a television show. I could be off on the era, though. Not my style overall, though, but I didn't hate it.

Never heard that before. It's completely meh. Nothing great lyric wise, and the production is pretty repetitive and weak. 3/10

Vocals/chorus"y" parts were better than expected, but everything else left me unsatisfied. 5/10.

I used to have that album because it had 99 Ways to Die on it. The track is fun and ****, as Run DMC tends to be. It's a little long though. I don't really have much else to say about it tbh. 7/10
