Like IndieRiot, I don't support illegal activity (if you can really call it that) but the way the RIAA is going about it is totally wrong.

I like Charlie Daniels take on it:

(A bit of a read but very good if you have the time)

The RIAA should try to pull that in some kind of real "hood" when they get a gun pulled out on them. Cause I would laugh so hard if they don't come prepared. They would get messed up.

RIAA Anti-Piracy Unit. Sounds like "RAPE-U"... That's what the RIAA does when you buy a CD anyway...

wow they need a better approach than scaring people into thinking they are cops...perhaps some real authority has to be developped.

It's probably not the first time that record company executives have been likened to Al Capone, but this time a judge might have to agree or disagree.

A New Jersey woman, one of the hundreds of people accused of copyright infringement by the Recording Industry Association of America, has countersued the big record labels, charging them with extortion and violations of the federal antiracketeering act.

Default RIAA Bands

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a list of bands that are a affiliated with the RIAA. Bands that are really truely Independent. I am not talking Genre here people. I am talking straight up indie.

I don't even really know if there is such a thing. Or is there anyway I can find out if a band is affilated with the RIAA without having to read a ****load of non-sense?

Please help out the noob. Thank You.

The reason for this I am planning on making a website.
