Oh, I have no doubt 90% of the people who respond like that have crap taste in music. There is just a minority of people out there like us where we actually are willing to listen to everything.

My teacher's auras were that he wold hear music playing in his head so if he ever listened to music his head wouldn't know whether it was real or an aura so he would work himself into a seizure anyway. He could NEVER listen to music. I don't know how I could live if that were me.
But you see, he has no condition that could inhibit him from listening to music. He just doesn't, it has no particular appeal to him.

Yeah, I figured...I just thought my teacher's condition was an interesting aside. But yeah your friend is weird as hell...I don't get not enjoying music. It's gotta say something about their personality and I doubt I could be friends with someone like that...

That's so weird. It reminds me of my supervisor at a job I had when I was a teenager who didn't like movies. The craziest part was we worked at a movie theater.

He's a good lad, surprisingly great to talk to, but that just really puzzles me.

What? You can't be a famous rapper :I?

Oh, I got another one. This one is from my stand partner in orchestra.

"I hate music. It's just noise."
"There's not a single song of any genre or time period that you like?"
"Nope."
"But you play an instrument."
"Yep."
"You don't even like the stuff we're playing?"
"It's not like we're listening to it."
"...Well, yeah, we are in way."
"Whatever. I just hate music."
"I'M GOING TO CHOKE YOU WITH A VIOLA STRING."

Our poor instructor. He constantly has to hear my death threats to this kid.

I know a person who plays the violin and she told me she didn't really like much music...
