Your definitely correct there, Iv come across many crap blogs. But that brings me back to my point of getting better with time at finding music suited to you. Think of it like going to the library looking for books. The first few times your overwhelmed and will probably pick a lot of stinkers, but after you have one there a good deal of times you have a much better chance of finding something you will enjoy reading.

Another plus about those crap bands being online is that if your going to see one live you can listen to them first and hen decide not to go because of how crappy they sounded. Kind of a double edged sword if you ask me.

I'd say the same in inverse. In fact, There is a definitive genre bias that these mainstream filters put up. You MUST be doing a style they want to sell, or a style which is in fashion. It's not just an issue of quality. Which cycles through to something "new" every 3-5 years anyway.

There's your answer right there.

Yes it is. Tell me: Is it easier to find new music nowadays compared to the pre-internet era?

Did I not just say I hear more bad music now than I ever did at any time?

Yes you did, but that doesn't answer my question. Is it easier to find new music nowadays compared to before the internet?

It's easier to acquire it.

If you know what you want it's easy, if you don't then I don't think it is.

You mean it was easier to acquire new music before the internet era, if you didn't know what you wanted?
