ahhh, sorry... did not read first post.

There was always something just annoying to it, lyrically I find it to be just awful. Maybe I just do not understand the "aeroplane" thing and what that has to do with a love of music. It just seemed like such a forgettable b-side worth song that should of never been on an actual release... save something like this for a single.

It just always made me go... what does this even mean? and annoyed me to no end.

lol It's so fun and catchy, I never paid attention too much to the lyrics even though I know all the lyrics and can sing them.

I didn't analyze them the way that you did to find out if it makes sense or not.

It's just poppy and catchy with Flea's bass playing that I love.

Aeroplane by the RHCP's is one of the better single's that I actually like also.

Yeah. It does have a kinda fun factor to it, i just cant get past the stupidity of it all (atleast to me) to enjoy it.

It is odd, I am not usually a person who focuses on lyrics, but this is one of the rare oes where I do.

I am no RHCP fanatic, but i like some songs here and there.. they are capible of writing fun songs with decent lyrics... this is just not one of them to me.
