Thanks for bringing back a painful memory Maybe Northern Uproar, perhaps?

Actually Nuisance was a good guilty pleasure in my opinion. "We Love You" just sounded like a band really out of it, down for the count. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was Elton John's producer who helped out on that one, and I credit him for those nice orchestral bits in that one.

I may be surprised at that second album, though. They may have sharpen up their goals a little. Still, when all's said, they were not that bad for a band signed after I think four gigs.

Here's one of the main men of bad music of the last couple of decades. It's too easy to pick on the modern hitmakers for me, I have to go serious into the Bad Music Underground of Cut-Out Level madness (now if only I can find someone who's posting ELP's "Taste of My Love."). Still, for Crap Born-Again Post-Grunge, it's still better than Creed just for the WTF value alone. Still, it's bad and very worthy of inclusion here.

Here's a painful memory that screams Early 90's.

It's too easy to pick on "Ice Ice Baby" and I had to go for worse.

Default Songs that make you want to lock and load, and just start shooting...

You know what I'm talking about: those songs that a) are terrible in the first place --- generic, copied, souless tripe and b) get played so much that if you hear them one more time someone's gonna die, probably in a hail of indiscriminate bullets!

I can think of one off hand. I don't know what it's called or who sings it (though I feel it may be my nemesis, Rihanna!) but if the girl next door plays it (full blast and repeat, repeat, repeat) one more time....

The lyric, such as it is, is stuck in my head like a brain tumour that just can't be reached by medical science and it goes "Just want to stand here and watch me burn/ That's all right cos I love the way it hurts" or something similar, with an annoying rap and the chorus sung in an annoyingly high voice.

Gaaahh! I HATE that song (in case you didn't realise already)...

Anyone else want to vent?

"Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye. Sorry but this "classic" is absolute garbage. This song is so goddamn awful, so cheesy, so boring, so blandly written and produced that it's embarrassing, but people love it for some reason that escapes me, and they insist on playing it everywhere.

That is Rihanna. Love The Way You Lie, eh? People are still not sick of that song yet?

I could mercilessly kill thousands if these songs were playing.

- Just a complete mess of a pop tune. It's hip-hop watered down to the absolute lowest common denominator. The chorus is one of the most annoying things ever composed.

- Same deal with this song. Complete bullshit. Fuck Adam Levine and everything about his stupid voice. I could punch him in the throat ceaselessly.
