Joining this forum to promote a band is against the rules. You have posted about this band and posted the same videos in several different threads now. If Urban, myself, or any other moderator believes you are here primarily to promote this band then we can, and will, ban your account.

Urbans response is actually a warning to you. He didn't need to give you that, not if he believes you are going to keep finding opportunities to advertise and promote.

This is a thread about Prince, period.

To answer the question that was originally posted, I will say that he is one of the best all around Musicians ever. A risk taker, a multi-talented artist, a good actor (Purple Rain is a good example of 80's film making...we'll forget Under the Cherry Moon, though), and someone who can write for others without sounding like he's throwing away out takes. There was a time when I thought that he was releasing way too much in The 90's, but even then it was with the talent and skill that's all his own.
