Brand New were at Osheaga last year and I tried to hard to go but ended up not being able to. I'm hoping they come back shortly, but it's hard to say.

I'm pretty sure you posted the lineup awhile back, but who is headlining Hopscotch?

Erykah Badu, Converge, Television, Beach House, Andrew Bird, Young Thug, Anderson.Paak, Vince Staples, Yob, Twin Peaks, Beach Slang, Vhol, Coathangers, Cobalt, Car Seat Headrest, LVL Up, Milo, Amanda X, Ricky Eat Acid, and Baroness.

At least those are the biggest names there but I can't find out who exactly is headlining or not.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

****ing Converge. You're lucky. Vince Staples was a time and a half, but I was that annoying guy in the crowd who screams all the lyrics as loudly as possible while the others just throw glances of disapproval.

Tsk tsk why you gotta keep looking past Television?

But yes, I'm very excited for Converge.

I promise I will listen to them soon, but the reason Converge stood out is because they're easily among my all-time favourite metal bands and I would cry if I ever had the chance to see them live. Please tell Kurt Ballou that I love him if you can.

They're so ****ing good dude I feel. I haven't listened to them for a while cause I was really into them junior year, but I decided to download Jane Doe the other day and I was blown away yet again. Great feeling coming back to music after not touching it for a while.

Pig Destroyer
I skipped the openers but PD were great—tight as hell as always. Both times I've seen these guys, Adam Jarvis' drumming has blown me away. This time the core band were also playing with John Jarvis on bass and Blake Harrison on electronics. Aside from electronics, Harrison seems like he's become PD's equivalent of Bez from Happy Mondays—an entertaining and funny cheerleader who helps get the crowd more riled up. Anyway, great times were had.

I just got an album by them a couple weeks. I still need to give it a full listen.

Teens Of Denial is standard indie fare but it has it's audience, I'd check it out if I were you.
