Now for some recent vinyl purchases (albums I know and love already) and a couple of 2016 pre-orders. My girlfriend's going to kill me.

I know this thread has been dead for quite some time, but with the fair bit of participation in the coloured vinyl thread, I thought it wouldn't hurt to give this a bump.

Today I picked up Courtney Barnett's Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit which to my surprise was pressed on orange vinyl.

Also grabbed a copy of Fugazi's Repeater for $15 because it's an essential album to own that I've been meaning to grab for awhile now.

You guys might think It's a bit ridiculous, but I bought these 2 vinyl's, just to hang them on my bedroom's wall. I don't even have a turntable or anything to play vinyl's with. lol

Hmm, we do have http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...-listened.html, but it is nice having a dedicated vinyl thread since that one tends to focus on streams/downloads/unspecified listens. I'll start posting my purchases here. In fact, I may move some of my prior vinyl posts from that thread to this one.

I think what's more ridiculous is the way you butchered the pluralization of the word vinyl not only by adding an 's' but by making it possessive with an apostrophe.

The plural of vinyl is vinyl.

I agree! It's always nice to share your recent purchases and see what other people have picked up. It's also one way to make sure you don't miss out on any limited edition pressings or cool pick-ups that some may not be aware of.
