As far as fret-melting fun goes, I chose Alexi Lahio every time.

vairocks, uh... i just wanted to say thanks for clearing up the jimi thing for me. i had no idea what you were talking about...(laughs because some people are slow).
I didn't put him on the list because i get sick of hearing about how great he was, not that im disagreeing im just sick of hearing it.

ok, but your opinions shouldnt effect the poll, a lot of people prefer hendrix the most, and if this poll was asking who the greatest was, you would be insane not to include hendrix, hes the most influencial guitarist ever, everything you hear in rock guitar today can all be traced back to hendrix...he is GUITAR...anyway i'll give you some credit for at least knowing who the hell D.Boon is.

PS.for those who dont know, he was the guitarist for the minutemen.

hmm, dunno...i think cobain was great, great riffs and some good solos...even though hes considerd by many to be a horrible guitarist.

Cobain was a good songwriter but as a guitarist he was pretty sub-par.
