I have a small vinyl collection but I wouldn't actively collect vinyl. I might just see a record at a bargain price and pick it up. Out of the physical mediums my medium of choice is still CD. I still think it's the most practical medium ever and has the right trade-off between sound quality and being easy to look after.

I'd only pick up cassettes if I get them free or find them in bargain bins for next to nothing. I have a cassette player in my car and that's the only reason why I would want cassettes. Out of the physical mediums they are by far the worst. I grew up with them and the amount of times I've had to deal with tapes getting caught, torn, or degrading is painful.
